What to Expect

Classes are designed to challenge you, test your skills, and enhance performance—all while having a good time in the process.

Each 60-minute class includes 2 instructors, 4 stations, and 24 people (max).

During class you’ll refer to the large screens to check your individual and group progress tracked by the wearable worn across your chest.

What is Adventure Fitness?

Instead of trying to mimic actual outdoor adventures within the studio, BKBX uses those activities as guiding inspiration for class workouts. That’s why every class has been designed to diversify your fitness capabilities and enhance the adventurous pursuits you feel most passionate about.

Foundations

Expect a results-driven workout experience that heightens foundational exercise to a new level. Focus areas include:

Skills

Expect dynamic puzzles, problem solving games, and other sensory experiences to challenge the body and mind. Focus areas include:

  • Pattern Recognition
  • Information Processing

Athletics

Expect competitive games, multi-dimensional movements, and plyometric training to sharpen your physical capabilities. Focus areas include:

  • Metabolic Recovery
  • Power + Explosiveness
  • Agility + Stability

AQ

It's Time to Train Smarter

The Adventure Quotient (AQ) is our research-backed performance metric that measures heart rate (your input) and your rate of force development (your output), and combines them to establish your AQ. Your AQ tells you when you’re working out with maximum efficiency (while avoiding unnecessary energy depletion).
